Aeropress® Coffee Maker
We know we you're thinking... No plastic coffee maker made by the guy who reinvented the Frisbee is going to be any good. At least, we know it was our reaction when we saw it for the first time. Then we started using it, realized how easy it was to use (and clean!), and were throughly impressed with the taste of the coffee. So much so that we've used it to win a number of coffee brewing competitions over the years.
Because of the Aeropress' paper filter, you can get the wonderfully clean cup that we've come to require in our brews, but because it's also a full immersion brewer (meaning all of the coffee and water remain together for the entire brew cycle), it means its really easy to use. Just for the naysayers out there, the plastic is medical grade and contributes no flavor whatsoever.
This brewer is really ideal for the avid traveler as its virtually unbreakable. It also is available as part of our travel kit with the Porlex Mini-mill.
