Armando Pineda is not the "usual" specialty coffee producer. While many specialty producers tend their farms high on Santa Bárbara mountain, hoping to set aside enough for a place in town, for many years, Armando has been doing the exact opposite - living in the tranquil remoteness while growing commercial coffee in the lowlands below. After a bit of encouragement, Armando realized the potential of his idyllic homestead to grow something truly special. This year’s harvest is rich with notes of sweet fruit and spices.
